YOU CAN’T ACCESS THE TRM DIPLOMA WITHOUT THIS
But Applied Foundations isn’t just a prerequisite.
It’s a complete professional development experience that gives you immediate tools while preparing you for the most important decision about your practice’s evolution.
HERE’S WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS
You’ll experience the Trauma Release Method™ in your own nervous system first.
Not only as theory. As felt experience.
Because you can’t facilitate with integrity what you haven’t embodied.
Two days where you will:
Experience Slow Release Breathwork™ that creates clarity without overwhelm
Learn TRM somatic practices like felt-sense meditation and wheel of awareness
Watch live coaching demonstrations and learn Embodied Insight Coaching™ protocols you can use immediately
Receive continuous professional development points
You’ll leave with techniques you can implement immediately. And absolute clarity about whether the full TRM certification is your path.
If you watch the pre recorded course, you will:
Be guided through somatic practices designed to awaken joy, presence and embodiment – even through a screen.
Learn self-directed touch techniques to regulate breath and body – ideal before a session, after a workout, or when anxiety kicks in
Witness TRM coaching in a live, group based format – and see what’s possible in a virtual setting without dilution
Learn a TRM group coaching protocol you can implement in both online and in person formats
Be introduced to the heart-mind practice, adapted from online learning – offering a way to reconnect mind and body in real-time with clients
Experience TRM breathwork, designed to bring the body into clarity without overhwhelm
Practice felt sense meditation and explore how this anchors you in the work so sessions become co=created, not over-held
Learn how to hold an integration circle that is deeply therapeutic, yet safe – where clients feel seen, not exposed
why this matters
FOR THE EXPERIENCED COACH MISSING BODY-BASED WORK:
You’ll finally understand how to bring clients into their bodies without overwhelming them. You’ll see how to create premium packages combining coaching with breathwork and bodywork.
FOR THE BOOKED-OUT BODYWORKER CRAVING FREEDOM:
You’ll discover how to work with groups and create retreat spaces. Multiple clients in an hour rather than one-to-one all day. This is the flexibility you’ve been seeking.
FOR THE PRACTITIONER WANTING GROUNDING:
Integrated Fascia Therapy™ — this fascia and spinal nerve work gives you the physical, grounded approach your practice has been missing. Bodywork creates the pathway — everyone understands it. You’ll learn how this transforms your practice whether online or in-person, groups or 1:1.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
This is taught by Natasha de Grunwald — a global expert with 30+ years of clinical experience, published author, and creator of the method.
Over three decades, she’s successfully taught thousands of practitioners worldwide, inspiring their growth and transformation.
You’re not learning from a recently certified teacher. You’re learning from the source.
You’ll work closely with Natasha and leave excited about what becomes possible after a full year of training.
BONUS: Early enrollment includes neurovascular bundle work (working with the body’s pulses) — not covered in the diploma.

YOUR NEXT STEP
This is where your transformation begins.
Experience the method. Gain immediate tools. Decide if the full certification is your path.
What is the focus of the training?
The training teaches Trauma Release Method (TRM), which integrates somatic coaching, conscious connected breathwork, bodywork, meditation, and nervous system regulation. It’s designed to help practitioners support clients safely and effectively through trauma-informed approaches.
What are the times of the Applied Foundations course?
Richmond
15th November 1pm – 6pm
Watch at the time to suit you.
How is this training different from other somatic or breathwork schools?
Unlike standard somatic coaching or breathwork trainings, TRM combines coaching, breath, bodywork, and somatic tools into a flexible method developed over three decades. It emphasizes safety, authenticity, and co-creation with clients rather than rigid techniques.
Do I need to be an experienced coach to join?
Yes, this training is best suited for those with some coaching, therapeutic, or body-based practice experience. It is not an entry-level coaching skills program; instead, it deepens and expands existing practices.
What is the pathway into the training?
The first step is attending a two-day introductory workshop (in-person or online). This allows you to experience the teaching style, explore the methods, and decide whether the year-long diploma is right for you.
How long is the full training?
The diploma is a year-long program, starting in February 2026, with both online components and in-person immersion retreats (e.g., a 4-day immersion in August 2026).
Is the training accredited?
Yes, the diploma is accredited and insured through the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). It counts as a recognized professional qualification and includes CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours.
Can I apply this training if I mostly work online?
Absolutely. While bodywork is more suited to in-person practice, many tools—such as functional breathing, somatic coaching, self-directed touch, and trauma-informed coaching—translate well into online sessions.
What kinds of trauma does the training address?
The training covers working with physical, psychological, and generational/inherited trauma. You’ll learn how to safely meet clients where they are, recognize boundaries of practice, and know when to refer to other professionals.
Is this the same as a three-year trauma therapy training?
No. This is not a psychotherapy degree. It is a professional coaching and body-based training that equips you with practical tools, ethical frameworks, and trauma-informed approaches for coaching and facilitation.
What values underpin the program?
Integrity, safety, and empowerment. The method emphasizes client consent, autonomy, and co-creation, ensuring practitioners hold space with care and professionalism.
What are the costs and payment options?
The introductory two-day workshop is £450. The full diploma program is approximately £6,000, with options for full payment or structured payment plans.
